The CPP Group provides a range of assistance products and services for our customers that cushion them against episodes of risk, protect them from loss and enhance their lifestyles. This range enables our business partners to forge closer relationships with their customers. We have a solution for many eventualities, including:

• Protecting the cards in our customers' wallets and purses, should these be lost or stolen.
• Providing advice, insurance and assistance to protect customers against the growing crime of identity theft.
• Insuring our customers' mobile phones.
• Providing assistance and protection if a customer's keys are lost or stolen.
• Offering advice to people considering legal action and cover for the costs involved in taking action on a range of issues.
• Providing savings on a range of healthcare services.
• Providing discounts on travel and hotel bookings.
• Monitoring the credit status of our customers.

We are also placing an increasing emphasis on the development of our product portfolio. We have created a centralised new product development function based in York, our international headquarters, from where we coordinate the global use of innovation and development resources dispersed around the group. This has facilitated the development of a number of new products that were trialled throughout 2007 and which continues into 2008.
